Pioneer Windmill

Pioneer windmill on Main Street was erected July 1984 to recognize the sacrifice and devotion of the settlers of our area.

Not sure who instigated the plan to move a windmill to Main Street Gray, but a willing crew was found.
​The windmill was deconstructed at a Milestone farm and reconstructed in Gray. A lot of moving parts but worth it.

The commemorative plaque reads;
​Dedicated to our Pioneers – By establishing good homes and a progressive community they laid the foundation for our present way of life.
