5 Years in the Life

In 1969 the Thompson family (Jack and Alyce, grown children Dianne and Armand and Jack's father Tom) of Gray was selected to be featured in a program titled 5 Years In the Life. Aptly named, the television crew was to return five years later - that didn't happen. Here is the original program.

Can't identify men sitting on curb in front of store - same quartet as inside? Pipe smoker Wiley Lafoy with Fred Axford. Chatting with Vern Henry?, Ken Hendrickson and Shoop Lafoy. Corky Lafoy came to drop of gas delivery bills. Leroy Moats leaning on edge of counter. Church arrivers; Fred and Jean Axford, Elaine Moats. Mark Hendrickson was the candy customer. Coffee row again; ????? Bill Gillis arrives in red jacket. Saw a bit of Neva Lafoy during Alyce's chat. Carla Boesch taking a piano lesson from Dianne. The school orchestra included Janice Colquhoun, Doug Gillis, John Burwell, Kris Boesch, Steve Boesch, Robert Clousen, Les Reiter. John Frei offers birthday wishes.
